Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Acode LLC (“Acode”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you use RocketFeed (the “Service”) and our website. We act as the data controller for the personal data described here.

Who we are

Data we collect

Account & contact data — your name, email address, company name, and Shopify store domain, provided when you sign up or contact us.

Store & catalogue data — to build your feeds we process product, variant, price, inventory, image, collection and translation data from your connected Shopify store. Where you choose to connect it, we also process your Google Ads performance data (such as impressions, clicks, cost and conversions per product). This is primarily commercial data about your products, not personal data, though it may occasionally contain personal data you have placed in product fields.

Usage & technical data — log data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and actions taken in the Service, used for security, diagnostics and improving the Service.

Payment data — your payments are processed by Paddle. We do not collect or store your card or bank details. Paddle provides us with limited transaction data (such as your name, country, and subscription status) needed to manage your account.

How we use your data

Legal bases (GDPR)

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you subscribe to); legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service and run our business, balanced against your rights); consent (where required, for example certain communications, which you may withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (to meet accounting, tax and regulatory requirements).

Sharing and sub-processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms, including:

We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer.

International transfers

We operate from Armenia and use providers that may process data in other countries, including the EU and the United States. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection, such as using providers that offer recognised safeguards (for example, standard contractual clauses).

Retention

We keep account and contact data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Store and catalogue data processed to build feeds is retained while your subscription is active and deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after termination, unless we are required to keep it.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect your data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and the ability to restrict public access to your feeds via secret tokens. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to promptly address any incident.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies

Our website and the Service use essential cookies required for authentication and core functionality, and may use limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect how the Service works.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date and, where changes are material, notify you.
